No dust jacket, a mylar jacket has been added. Very Good binding is orange cloth over boards with black lettering and picture of girl reading book to her dog, black lettering on the spine. Cover slightly soiled, some edge-wear. Signature on front end paper dated “1956”. Line illustrations by Lois Lenski. The binding is tight and pages are clean. The book measures 9.0″ tall x 6.2″ wide.
