No dust jacket, a mylar jacket has been added. The Good binding is white paper over boards, black cloth backed, cover shows an illustration of a bed, teddy bear, and Frances with black lettering, covers and hinges show some foxing (refers to the reddish-brown freckle-like spots that appear on old paper, primarily caused by the oxidation of iron contaminants in the paper pulp). Illustrations throughout by Garth Williams. Pages are clean and binding is tight. The book measures 10.2″ tall x 8.2″ wide.

Garth Montgomery Williams (April 16, 1912 – May 8, 1996) was an American artist who came to prominence in the American postwar era as an illustrator of children’s books. Many of the books he illustrated have become classics of American children’s literature.
In Stuart Little, Charlotte’s Web, and in the Little House series of books of Laura Ingalls Wilder, Williams[‘s] drawings have become inseparable from how we think of those stories.
