About the book (from the dust jacket)
Winky was a scarecrow and was supposed to keep the crows away from the garden, but unfortunately he didn’t know what a crow looked like. He asked a rabbit, a squirrel, a woodchuck and a mouse, who were all feeding in the garden, and they tried to tell him When the crow did appear, Winky was far more terrified than the crow.

In this story you can find out what Winky did about this unfortunate situation and how he finally became King of the Garden, and how all the small animals helped him, and he them.
