The dust jacket is Fair showing wear the the top edge and bottom edge with small pieces missing, has clipped ends, the dust jacket paste on is in good condition with some abrasions at the top edge. The dust jacket is encased in a Brodart protectant cover to preserve the dust jacket. The book is Very Good, bound in blue cloth over boards and has bright gilt stamping on the front cover, dulled stamping on the spine, corners bumped. The book cover paste on is in very good condition. The book has some toning on the front endpapers. The book has sixteen illustrations in color by Ellis Silas. Outside page edges are untrimmed. The binding is tight and pages are clean.
