The Very Good binding is staple-bound, illustrated paper over boards with a foil spine, the front cover shows nine different flags, with white and yellow lettering, the rear cover is advertising for Giant Golden Books for Growing Minds, the front cover has, light edge-wear, light corner-wear, rear cover shows wear, has small chip at the base of the spine which does not effect text or illustrations, corner-wear, Title page has a short tear at the hinge. The binding is tight and the pages are clean. The lovely color illustrations by Stephen Cook can be found on every page. The book measures 6.7″ wide x 8.0″ tall.
