No Jacket, a mylar jacket protector has been added. The Good binding is orange cloth over boards, color illustration by Gag on the cover, white, orange and light green lettering on the cover, black lettering on the spine, Weekly Reader Children’s Book Club logo on the back, light soiling to the book, toning to the book, ink writing on front free end paper. The binding is tight and pages are clean. Fine black-and-white illustrations by Flavia Gag can be found throughout the book.
About the illustrator:
Flavia Gag was an author, artist, writer and illustrator of eight children’s books; she also illustrated 14 books and numerous stories for juvenile magazines. Flavia loved to paint nature and specialized in watercolor paintings of landscapes, animals and flowers. Wanda Gag House
