Very good dust jacket, pink with illustration, slight soiling, some edge wear, chipping at bottom of spine. Very Good+ binding is yellow cloth over boards with illustration of dog in lower right corner. Light soiling at edges, black lettering on spine. Toning to outside page edges, does not affect text. Color illustrations throughout by Sam Q. Weissman. The “1” is present on the number line on copyright page which is the designation of first edition. The binding is tight and pages are clean. Cynthia Weissman grew up as one of four sisters. and says she has only to remember her own childhood to come up with plots for her stories. Ms. Weissman is married to an advertising copywriter, and lives in Scarsdale. New York. Breakfast for Sammy is her first book for children.

Sam Q. Weissman (who is Cynthia Weissman’s father-in-law) lives in the Bronx, New York, with his wife, three dogs-and a 21-year-old turtle. This is also his first book.
