About the author:
Frances Trego Montgomery (February 18, 1858 – April 5, 1925) was a prolific writer of children’s stories during the early twentieth century. She is best known for her popular “Billy Whiskers” series, which were about the misadventures of a mischievous but somewhat short-tempered goat. Many children loved the books–twenty-five in all–and couldn’t get enough of them. IMDB
