No Jacket, a mylar dust jacket has been added. The Good binding is green paper over boards, red cloth-backed, Illustration off Billy Whiskers at the circus, orange and black lettering, black lettering on the spine, rear cover has the same illustration as the front cover, edge-wear and bumping to corners, wear at the head and foot of the spine. The binding is cracked at the front cover, the pages are clean, some toning. Last page in inside back cover has tear with pulling from binding. Cheerful pictorial frontispiece in color plus black-and-white illustrations throughout the book by Arthur DeBebian.

Frances Trego Montgomery (February 18, 1858 – April 5, 1925) was a prolific writer of children’s stories during the early twentieth century. She is best known for her popular “Billy Whiskers” series, which were about the misadventures of a mischievous but somewhat short-tempered goat.
