About the book (from the dust jacket)
There once was a cat named Bendemolena who liked to wear a pot on her head-which made everything she heard all mixed up. Did her mother say to put the smish on to fake or to put the bish in the lake? Oh! She must have said to put soap in the cake! So they did-Bendemolena and her brothers and sisters put soap in the cake. And they do lots of other delightfully funny things in this amusing story for boys and girls.
Younger children enjoy having the story of mixed-up Bendemolena read to them. Older children, of course, want to read and enjoy it themselves. All children arc captivated by the colorful pictures.
Bendemolena…was written by two imaginative housewife-mother-speech specialists who know children from the bottom up. They had as much fun writing the story as children have listening to it and reading it.
