No dust jacket. The Very Good+ binding is red cloth over boards, cowboy design in black on front cover, black lettering on spine. Minor edge rub wear. Illustrated end papers. Dated (Christmas 1963) inscription on page prior to title page. The binding is tight and pages are clean. The book measures 7.3″ tall x 6.2″ wide.

A Friend Is Someone Who Likes You, her first children’s books, was one of the New York Times Best Illustrated Children’s Books.
