Of all the little people of the Northwoods, young Tangle is far and away the most mischievous. He doesn’t mean to get into trouble, but that’s exactly where his quest for excitement always leads him. When a series of misadventures brings him crashing into his village’s forbidden Fire Cave, Tangle is banished until he learns to behave sensibly. How Benedict Blathwayt’s rambunctious and endearing character travels to the land beyond the mountains. meets adventure beyond his wildest dreams, and returns to the Northwoods a hero is a story that will enchant young readers.
