Description

No Jacket, a mylar dust jacket has been added.  The Good+ binding is blue cloth over boards with a black line  illustration, black lettering on front cover, black lettering on spine.  The binding is tight and pages are clean.  Inside front cover shows some wear, a bookplate dated 1936, a small tear on page 52, shelf-wear, bumped corners.  The illustrations by Wanda Gag are fantastic, a full page color frontispiece, six full page black-and-white, plus black-and-white illustrations throughout the book.

About the illustrator:
Wanda Hazel Gág (March 11, 1893 – June 27, 1946) was an American artist, author, translator, and illustrator. She is best known for writing and illustrating the children’s book Millions of Cats, the oldest American picture book still in print.
