Description

No Jacket, a mylar dust jacket has been added. The Good + binding is blue cloth over boards, Gilt stamped images of Pooh and Christopher Robin on cover with gilt stamping on the spine, pictorial endpapers. The binding is tight and pages have staining on outside edges and inside staining throughout the book that does not interfere with text or illustrations. Black-and-white illustrations throughout the book by E.H. Shepard.

About the author:
Alan Alexander Milne (January 18, 1882 – January 31, 1956) was an English writer best known for his books about the teddy bear Winnie-the-Pooh, as well as for children’s poetry. Milne was primarily a playwright before the huge success of Winnie-the-Pooh overshadowed all his previous work.

About the illustrator:
Ernest Howard Shepard OBE MC (December 10, 1879 – March 24, 1976) was an English artist and book illustrator. He is known especially for illustrations of the anthropomorphic animal and soft toy characters in The Wind in the Willows and Winnie-the-Pooh.
