The Good binding is orange paper over boards, Illustration of family looking at the clock, white lettering on cover, rear illustration of horse and rider riding away, black lettering, rub/wear to the binding, edge-wear, corner wear and bumped, wear at head and foot of spine, pictorial end papers. ink writing dated Christmas 1947. The binding is tight and pages are clean. Color and black-and-white illustrations throughout the book by Elizabeth Orton Jones.
