No Jacket. The Very Good+ binding is green cloth over boards, pictorial past-on, gilt stamping, Orange stamping, orange lettering on the spine, few scratches by the paste down. Ink writing dated Christmas 1923 on the front free endpaper, full signature on the back of the frontispiece, slight wear to corners and spine ends. The binding is tight and pages are clean. Fabulous color illustrations by Hope Dunlap can be found throughout the book.
