Description
No Jacket. The Very Good binding is dark green cloth over boards, pictorial gilt stamping on the cover and spine, corners bumped, light wear to the head and foot of spine. ink writing dated Christmas 1909 on the front free endpaper, rear cover has a light stain. Untrimmed fore-edge. Top edge guilt. The binding is tight and pages are clean. Black-and-white frontispiece, plus exquisite black-and-white illustrations throughout by George W Edwards.
