No Jacket. The Good binding is staple bound, paper over boards with a blue paper spine, the front cover shows animals in a field with red and black lettering, the rear cover is advertising for Little golden library. The binding shows sear at the corners and spine, front and rear hinge is cracked, pages show some toning. The binding is tight and the pages are clean. The lovely illustrations by Rudolf Freund can be found on every page, some illustrations are full color others are black-and-white.
