Edmund Dulac (1882-1953) Was born in France and became a British citizen in 1912. A talented artist and stage designer, he is recognized as one of the century’s greatest illustrators of children’s books. His illustrated works include The Tempest, The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, and The Arabian Nights.
