The Very Good Condition binding is pink paper over boards, front and back cover and spine are printed with the same image as the dustjacket. The line drawings by E. H. Shepard are numerous throughout the book. The binding is tight and pages are clean.
Alan Alexander Milne (January 18, 1882 – January 31, 1956 ) was an English writer best known for his books about the teddy bear Winnie-the-Pooh, as well as for children’s poetry. Milne was primarily a playwright before the huge success of Winnie-the-Pooh overshadowed all his previous work.
Ernest Howard Shepard OBE MC (December 10, 1879 – March 24, 1976) was an English artist and book illustrator. He is known especially for illustrations of the anthropomorphic animal and soft toy characters in The Wind in the Willows and Winnie-the-Pooh.
