About the book (from the dust jacket)
The sun wakes her. Breakfast is eggs, sunny-side up. Her morning is busy and quiet, spent in her room with crayons, scissors, and private things. Then a friend comes over, and her room Opens into yard, field, sky. They fly balloons and share secrets. She skins her knee. It’s time for dinner, bath, and bed. Her doll waits on her pillow. And the moon watches as she falls asleep.
Janet Wolf’s unique first book gently invites youngest readers into a world of close ups where the smallest details are as enchanted as they are familiar.
