Very Good dust jacket which is price-clipped. The dust jacket has a color photo on the front with a black and white photo on the back with a mylar protective covering. The book is bound in blue paper over boards, white cloth-backed. The spine has bright gilt stamping which is in very good condition. Black marker spot on outside pages, does not affect text or illustrations within. Sixteen pages of fabulous photos included. This biography finally communicates how this great “Western” artist, from the village of Canton, New York, near the St. Lawrence River, was sustained by his roots, by his continual returns there with his wife, Eva, and by his closest friends, the men and women of the North Country who launched him on his career.
