No Dust Jacket as issued. The Good binding is staple-bound, illustrated paper over boards with a foil spine, the front cover shows a clown, an elephant and a boy, with red and black lettering, the rear cover is advertising for Golden Nature Guides. The binding pages show some toning, small dent at the base of the spine, light soiling to the cover, corner-wear, wear on the rear cover, Wear at the head and foot of the spine. The binding is tight and the pages are clean. The lovely color illustrations by Joan Walsh Anglund can be found on every page. The book measures 6.7″ wide x 8.0″ tall.
First Edition, “A” is present on the last page.
