No dust jacket, a mylar dust jacket has been added. The Very Good binding is navy blue cloth over boards. Slight fading to spine. Toning to end papers, front free endpaper has a neat dedication, front and rear pastedowns have portions missing. Missing one color illustration at page 58. Cracked hinge. Color frontispiece, color and black-and-white illustrations by Jessie Wilcox Smith. The binding is tight and pages are clean. The book measures 5.9″ tall x 7.8″ wide.
