Description
Dust jacket condition Good, with small tears along the bottom front edge, wear at the top of the spine, price clipped and shows some rub/wear. The Very Good Condition binding is grey paper over boards, front and back cover are printed with the same image as the dust jacket, no printing on the spine, with some shelf wear along bottom of the book. The wonderful color full page illustrations by Marc Simont are on every other page. The binding is tight and pages are clean.
About the Illustrator:
Marc Simont (November 23, 1915 – July 13, 2013)was a Paris-born American artist, political cartoonist, and illustrator of more than a hundred children’s books. Inspired by his father, Spanish painter Joseph Simont, he began drawing at an early age. Notable awards: Caldecott Medal; 1957
