The book cover and dust jacket have the same illustrations. The binding is tight and pages are clean. Caroline Anstey’s lovely illustrations can be found on every page as well as the dust jacket. The “1” is present on the number line on copyright page which is the designation of first edition.

About the author:
Colin West was born in 1951 and has enjoyed writing and illustrating books for as long as he can remember. In 1975 he graduated with an M.A. in illustration from the Royal College of Art in London Since then he has created more than fifteen books for children. Colin West lives in Essex, England.
About the illustrator:
Caroline Anstey has been – illustrating children’s books since 1980, hen he completed her course in graphic design at West Surrey College of Art and Design. She lives on a farm in West Sussex, England, with her family and her tabby cat, Mr. Micawber.
