Description
No Jacket. The Good+ binding is green cloth over boards, black line illustration on the cover with white lettering, black line illustrations on the spine with white lettering, minor wear at the head and foot of the spine, some fading on the spine and covers, bumped corners, shelf-wear, ink writing on the front free endpaper, some staining on front free end paper and at the top of pages not effecting the text or illustrations. The binding shows some small signs of loosening on inside front cover and the pages are clean. Black-and-white illustrations throughout the book by J.M. Conde.

J. M. Condé was an early 20th century “golden age” book illustrator and comic strip artist best known for his ink and watercolor illustrations for books by Joel Chandler Harris and Albert Bigelow Paine.
