The Good dust jacket has some soiling at edges, decorated with a wreath and butterflies, $1.00 price is present on the front flap lower corner. The Very Good binding is pink paper over boards. The book cover and dust jacket have the same illustration. Gift inscription written on front free end paper dated “Easter of 1964 March 29th”. Color illustrations by Joan W Anglund. The binding is tight and pages are clean. The book measures 4.8″ tall x 4.3″ wide.

Joan Walsh Anglund (January 3, 1926 – March 9, 2021) was an American poet and children’s book author and illustrator. A Friend Is Someone Who Likes You, her first children’s books, was one of the New York Times Best Illustrated Children’s Books. She published more than 120 books, and as of 2014, she had sold over 45 million books worldwide.
