No dust jacket, a mylar dust jacket has been added. The Very Good+ binding is green cloth over boards, privately owned library binding, a textured cover with man, a bird, a pig, a fish and a cat. Color illustrations by Gloria Waterfield and JoAnnn Seaver. The binding is tight and pages are clean. The book measures 9.8″ tall x 8.1″ wide.
